The Cult of the Black Cube
A Saturnian Grimoire
(4th Edition)
by Dr. Arthur Moros
Feared and revered across time, Saturn’s influence on spiritual and magical traditions is profound. The Cult of The Black Cube: A Saturnian Grimoire focuses especially on the antinomian essence of the Saturnine current, both in historical tradition and living practice.
The Cult of the Black Cube: A Saturnian Grimoire is divided into three main sections:
Part I examines the ambivalent role of Saturn in various religious and magical traditions around the world focusing especially on His Islamic, Classical and Indian cults. Fleshing out the common traits underlying Saturn’s global manifestations, Dr. Arthur Moros argues for a perennial cult of Saturn expressed in various cultural guises.
Parts II and III comprise the Grimoire of the Black Cube which provides a comprehensive armory of occult weaponry to initiate Saturnine contact and to establish an individual cultus of Saturn. Part II presents a thorough esoteric analysis of the Saturnine Cult and the nature of its initiatic path. Part III is devoted to the practical applications of Saturnine worship and magic.
The fourth edition features the foreword by Dr. Tomas Vincente, author of The Faceless God, and a powerful essay by David Beth on the Saturnine deity entitled “Clavis Saturni: A Kosmic Heresy”.
David’s treatise is based on notes he had initially provided to Arthur Moros who had intended to compose a further chapter for his book detailing the Saturnian vibrations within the Kosmic ‘pandaemonic’ current – unfortunately, his premature death prevented the writing of this section. With encouragement from the Moros estate, David Beth decided to work these notes into an essay in order to make its Gnosis available to the esoteric community.

Press, reviews, endorsements
“In his insightful volume The Cult of the Black Cube author Arthur Moros gives us a brilliant analysis of the Saturnine path, illuminating some of the variables that have historically found root in Saturn as a deity surrounded by devotional and magical practices… It is a must have for students of Dark Gnosis, Saturnine practices and those looking for a solid alternative to the endless stream of Luciferian imagery in contemporary occultism.”

“Even while operating from within a pseudonym, it became obvious to this reviewer in the first, and this second edition, that this text is an honest offering from and to the inter-and-intra-relation of Deity, magician, and world… This is a book of Necessity. This is a book of the Saturnine Deity. It emerges from them. It is not merely about them. If this fact intrigues you, this reviewer suggests you read it according to its rhythms, and see what emerges with you.”
